Welcome to the home of the central Arkansas’ inaugural Mardi Gras in the Rock. The festivities are scheduled to be on February 10, 2024 beginning at 8:00 PM. Mardi Gras in the Rock is a Mardi Gras ball for all of Central Arkansas. It is being held to let the citizens of Central Arkansas experience the culture and festivities of a New Orleans Mardi Gras. During the event, people will be able to wear formal attire and experience the festivities with decorations, Mardi Gras themed activities, and Mardi Gras food. It is an opportunity for the community who have never experienced Mardi Gras to do so by creating new memories and connecting with others through music and activities in a formal, fun, and safe, environment. The most important reason is to raise funds for the Dark Hollow CDC to continue it’s mission to build and support their community.
